Bought this saw on a good price, sceptical, "give it a try" basis 2 years ago. Big name saws FAR too heavy for my old arms and shoulders. I have 5, 300 mt long tree lines on the contours, on my block. Mature branches hang below tractor cab roof. Needs regular maintenance trimming. Astounded to find battery strength gives full power for almost both sides of one tree line. By that time my shoulders and stomach muscles have 'had it', anyway.
Chain oiler works very well. I have a bit of frustration with chain tightening (which way to turn the knobs). and a bit of concern that the little spigot that pulls the chain bar tight, is bending. So far, so good. The pole arm proving strong enough, though screws need checking. I WOULD definately buy another. Find I use it for other than overhead work ( it's quiet and simpler ) but trigger positions then hard to get finger and thumb on to. Sprocket and chain sizes may have to be changed if one walks into a "Honda. etc" shop for quick parts. So, my experience, good strong battery, not over/top heavy, rugged enough if respected, certainly cuts well if bar and chain in condition and I can cut branches at 8 feet high. Oil reservoir needs constant checking.
I'd buy another.
